08/23/2024 – For sale is a AK47S rifle assembled by B West out of Tuscon Arizona. This rifle had used a domestic made receiver and a Chinese parts kit. The B west rifles have a checkered history with receivers that were made by a company in Arizona that were not licensed to manufacture firearms and did not heat treat them properly.
The rifle has a BWD serial # Prefix which would be around 1989. The rifle has an overall great finish with the parts retaining a nice polished bluing. The wood furniture are excellent with only minor handling marks. The bore is bright with great rifling. The rifle has a Type 56 Spiker under folding bayonet. The rifle comes with a Chinese green canvas sling, one 30-round magazine, and a cleaning kit in the buttstock.
