5/11/22 – This is an original 1944 dated shoulder holster for the Victory model revolvers. The US Navy in WW2 procured and provided S&W Victory model revolvers to Navy pilots. The holster is stamped “USN, Boyt 44” on the back leather. The front leather has a US stamp. The leather is soft and pliable with some mild surface wrinkling and dark spotty discoloration throughout. No stitching issues. The shoulder strap is in great shape. Overall a very nice US Navy issued holster. Fairly scarce compared to the 1911A1 style shoulder holsters.
