11/4/22 – This is an original 1943 production US M1 helmet with a USMC camo cover. The shell is in excellent condition with minimal internal wear and no dents externally. McCord 277C style fixed bales. Lot 104A with correct brass chinstrap buckle. The camo cover is aged with rust colored stains and some small holes in the cloth around where it folds over the seam, but still in great overall condition. The liner is maker stamped by Seaman Paper Co. and is in excellent condition. The leather chinstrap and leather headband is in great shape with some mild use and aging wear. Size medium.
