8/31/23 – This is a desirable USMC issued KA-BAR fighting and utility knife. The blade is missing most of the finish, and has mild surface patina throughout. The edge has one small nick from use, and shows signs of sharpening / honest use wear. “USMC” marked on one side of the ricassio, and KA-BAR maker marked on the other. The leather handle is in great shape with mild signs of handling and some very mild wiggle on a small area of the lower portion of the grip. Comes with a postwar USMC leather scabbard. A nice example with honest use wear.
