5/31/22 – This is a USMC issued bolo utility knife / machete from WW2. The blade is USMC stamped from Chatillon, NY. There is some mild surface wear from the scabbard, as well as light verdigris and a few small spots of dark oxidation / discoloration. No signs of sharpening nor any issues along the edge. The wood handle is in great condition. Comes with a leather scabbard that’s in great shape with no stitching issues and some mild leather wear. Maker stamped “USMC BOYT” with a 1945 date on the back of the sheath.
