12/12/18 – This is an original WW2 era US M4 PAL bayonet for the M1 carbine. The bayonet is marked under the hand guard with a maker stamp “USM4 PAL”. The leather handle is in great shape with brown plastic spacers. The spacers have no cracks or chips, but the spacer near the hand guard has a few marks that look like it was shaved down where the plastic meets the leather. The blade has patina throughout but has never been sharpened. Comes with an excellent M8 Scabbard. Guaranteed original.
