2/12/18 – This is a late/end of WW2 production PAL USM4 bayonet, complete with original M8 scabbard. The scabbard has rare plastic spacers on the ends of the leather handle. This was an end-of-war production feature to cut costs and save on materials. The platsic has very light wear and surface scratches, but no chips and overall the handle is in excellent condition. The blade similarly is excellent with minimal scabbard wear and no signs of sharpening. One side of the hand guard is maker stamped and the reverse side has a US flaming bomb. The scabbard is made by B.M. Co. and is in excellent condition. The entire scabbard is painted olive green. Guaranteed original and authentic.
