4/30/24 – This is an original WW2 era US Paratrooper Switchblade. This example has excellent, smooth action and tight lockup with a fully functional release button and safety lever. The blade is in great condition with natural, dark oxidation and spotty discoloration from age and light use. The edge shows light signs of use and sharpening but is generally clean and in great overall condition. The black textured handle has all original fastening pins in place, and a lanyard loop at the base. There’s a small crack in the handle near the lanyard loop attachment at the base of the grip. This is a minor flaw and the grip is still completely intact. Overall a very nice example with no major issues.
