10/28/21 – This is an original US Military Medic Helmet from WW2. The helmet is for a paratrooper medic, as indicated by the type of chine strap shown. The helmet shell is missing one of the bail rings, and the one in tact is the later-wartime swivel version. The shell has no dents, and has multiple medic cross logos around the exterior. We suspect this was repainted / refurbished some time ago. The liner shell has a few small cracks starting from the lip that are about an inch long. The interior is maker stamped by Firestone. We’re not sure if the liner is original or period correct. The liner is in good overall condition with the chin strap in tact as shown.
