5/4/18 – This is an original US M3 fighting knife, early blade dated variation PAL fighting knife. The blade is maker stamped and dated 1943. The markings are faint but 100% original. The blade has some dark discoloration throughout but this is honest wear from aging and use. The blade doesn’t appear to be sharpened but it has been used. The handle has the initials “WH” scratched into the leather, and again there’s signs of use and handling, but overall the grip is in tact. There’s a US flaming bomb ordnance stamp on the pommel. The leather scabbard is in great condition made by Viner Bros. Leather is very nice with no major issues and stitching is completely in tact.
