2/8/21 – This is a very good condition U.S. M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand Rifle. Includes the correct WWII Issue M3 fiberglass scabbard. This 16″ bayonet has the black colored grips. Tight & secure with no cracks or chips. The blade ricasso is maker marked OL (Oneida Limited) above “U.S.” and the Ordnance flaming bomb. Date stamped 1943. The original finish on the blade is about 75% with minor scabbard wear and no evidence of sharpening. The scabbard is marked with the ordinance bomb and has only minor wear. Nice piece of US military history.
