7/10/24 – This is a US Army Colt Model 1901, manufactured in 1899 and chambered in .38 Caliber. It is all matching. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is obvious brown patina and oxidation throughout. The grips are hand-numbered to match. There is light surface rust on the frame under the grip panels. The bore has good rifling, but there are a couple of small spots of light surface oxidation. The lanyard ring on the butt of the frame has been replaced.
