8/17/23 – This is a rare and unusual P.38 magazine that was made by JVD during WW2, and also proof stamped in the Walther factory. This example is proof that JVD was a subcontractor for Walther, as the magazine spine is JVD stamped with a “WaA706” waffen proof, and an eagle/359 Walther inspection proof. The left side of the tube is P.38 stamped (signifies earlier wartime production). The magazine is in great condition with a fully functional spring and minimal finish loss.
