5/31/23 – This is a leather rifle sling for a US rifle, most likely made during the WW1 era. The leather shows typical signs of aging and previous use, with light surface wrinkling throughout and general softness / pliability. These are often found with M1903 rifles but would also fit M1917’s as well as M1 Garand rifles. Leather keepers are intact with original stitching. Metal rings / fixtures are non-magnetic brass. No major cracks, rips, or tears.
