7/6/20 – This is an original luger tool, most likely from WW1. The tool has been unit stamped on the front with number 6503, which also has a line through it. There’s also a number “71” on the back. Most likely this was made during WW1 and then later re-used by the Weimar police after WW1, which would explain the line through the first number and a re-numbering on the back. There is little finish on the tool, another indicator of WW1 era production. There is some light patina throughout, but overall in great condition.
