11/25/24 – This is an good example of a WW1 production Artillery Luger holster. The holster is in good overall condition with soft, pliable leather that has surface wrinkling and light cracking throughout the exterior lid, closure strap, front body and toe of the holster. The closure strap has some additional cracking from use as well, but is still completely intact. The stitching is all original and excellent. The interior leather shows mild use wear but no major issues. The lip is maker stamped, this stamp is still strong and easily recognizable. The interior is unit stamped ” BA III.” The interior of the closure flap is also ink marked with a name, however it is hard to make out what this name is.
