5/17/24 – This is a nice example of an Inland M1 carbine originally issued to the US military in 1943-44. It was later reworked and sold to the public through the CMP Program. This one comes with the original CMP certificate. The barrel is Underwood and dated 1-43. The stock appears to be marked “S-HB” in the sling well. Adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added. The finish rates roughly 85% with general high edge wear, light spotty wear throughout, and light brown patina throughout. The wood has no major damage but shows obvious signs of wear throughout. Two small holes on the left side of the stock. Comes with one magazine, sling, and oiler. Excellent bore.
