5/10/24 – This is an early WW2 variation M1 Garand Bayonet. The bayonet features an uncut, 16 inch blade and original scabbard. This example also features early brown colored grip panels. The blade is excellent overall condition, with light finish loss and high edge wear but no major issues. Clean finish and excellent, unsharpened edge. The base of the blade is maker stamped, dated, and ordnance stamped. The cross guard and pommel have natural surface patina but no major issues. Excellent grips. The original scabbard is in great condition as well. Examples like this have become increasingly hard to find.
