4/4/23 – This is an extremely rare Prussian Criminal Police Warrant Disc from early WW2. These discs were used from 1934 through 1937, where they were then recalled for replacement by the “new” version of the Kripo warrant disc more commonly found by collectors today. This example was obviously not melted down, and one of only a few examples in circulation today. One side features a Prussian Eagle with swastika symbol on the breast. The eagle holds lightning bolts in one talon and a sword in the other. The other side of the disc is numbered “2” for Muhlhausen Thur. with a larger, central swastika logo. The disc is in great overall condition with typical signs of cleaning and natural age. This example comes with a COA by Don Bible, who wrote the book on Gestapo Discs and Kripo Warrant Discs.
