2/15/23 – This is an original Smith and Wesson Victory revolver, issued to the US Naval Aviation during WW2. The left side of the frame says “Property of US Navy”. There isn’t much actual finish loss on this one – it has retained about 95-97%. There’s minor thinning on the right side of the receiver, and various minor scuff marks throughout. Hardly a turn line on the cylinder though, and the bore is mint, so this one hasn’t been shot much. The gun functions well and the action is smooth. The lanyard loop is in tact. All numbered parts match, including the grip panel.
