3/28/23 – This is a rare Type 90 triple barrel flare pistol from WW2. These were issued to the Japanese navy up until 1945. The black painted finish is in about 80% overall condition with most of the ear being on the high points of the breech / receiver and muzzles. There’s also light finish loss on the front and back straps from handling and use. This example is mechanically sound with all three functional firing pins, smooth cocking mechanism, functional safety lever, and barrel release. The pistol is all matching with numbers 4464 stamped on the front strap, release arm, interior ejection button, and right side of the frame. The top of the breech is maker stamped with a naval anchor inspection proof. Original grips have no cracks or chips. Comes with an original flare ammo case, made from bakelite with the original label still intact.
