3/25/22 – This is a type 30 bayonet for an Arisaka Type 99 or Type 38 rifle. The bayonet is in excellent condition with an original scabbard and leather frog. The blade is in beautiful condition with an unsharpened edge, and beautiful original bluing throughout. The ricasso is maker stamped on one side. The hand guard and metal hilt has surface patina and a few small spots of rust, but is in good overall condition. Nice wood grip handles. The scabbard has no dents and has most of the blued finish still intact. The frog shows typical wear and aging with no major issues.
