1/17/23 – This is an original WW2 Type 30 Japanese Rifle bayonet by Jinsen Arsenal. The bayonet is a variation F, LB-156 from Labar’s book, “Bayonets of Japan”. The fullered blued blade is excellent with no signs of misuse or post-factory sharpening. There is some mild finish loss and thinning throughout the blade, with some mild speckling patina in places. The hooked hand guard and hilt of the bayonet has dark surface patina throughout and rust colored patina mixed within the blued finish. Great overall condition with excellent wood grips. Comes with a proper tubular-tipped metal scabbard that has no dents. There’s dark surface patina and natural aging throughout the scabbard as shown.
