2/2/23 – This is an original late WW2 production T30 Japanese Arisaka bayonet by Toyoda Automatic Loom Works. According to Labar’s book on Japanese Bayonets, this is a very scarce variation bayonet. This variation J (or T3) LB-149 has a late WW2 release button and a contoured wrap-around wood grip. The cross guard is rectangular and the blade is blued and slab-sided. The blade shows some dark surface patina and finish loss throughout. There are a few minor dents and dings along the edge from use as well. The cross guard and pommel have dark patina and surface wear throughout as well. The grips have no cracks or chips. Comes with a tubular-tipped metal scabbard in great overall condition with no dents and some mild surface patina.
