10/25/22 – This is an excellent example of an original type 2 snail drum magazine for a WW1 Artillery Luger. The magazine has retained a majority of its blued finish, showing almost no signs of use wear/finish loss. There are small areas of patina as well as oxidation on the front and back of the magazine’s drum. The left-hand side of the magazine tube features an imperial crown/s proof near the follower. The front and back of the magazine’s drum are marked with serial number “460248” and Bing maker markings. The spring and loading arm strong and functional.
