5/10/24 – This is an original, early WW2 production Type 14 Nambu holster. The holster is all leather construction with brass fixtures and an original leather shoulder strap. As Japan ran low on materials, most wartime production examples are rubberized canvas. Examples such as this are highly collectible. The leather has some surface scuffs and natural surface wrinkling with normal signs of use. No major issues or notable flaws. The stitching is all tight and original throughout. The shoulder strap has some surface wrinkling and scuffs but no cracking or rips in the leather. The interior leather once had some sort of label inside the lid, which has since been removed (only residue / the outline remains). A great condition example.
