6/23/23 – This is an original, rare variation WW1 Artillery Luger Snail Drum Magazine. This is the Type 1, early variation. The magazine holds 32 rounds and is all original, including an unmarked dust cover. The magazine tube is Imperial proof stamped near the top feed lips on one side. The blued exterior of the magazine is in excellent overall condition with some mild surface patina throughout the exterior. There’s dark brown aging wear mixed within the original finish, and some small areas of finish loss as shown. The top and bottom of the drum portion of the magazine are matching numbered, and the bottom also shows an AEG maker symbol. Holds 32 rounds and is fully functional.
