7/26/23 – This is a “transitional” style Luger magazine from WW2. The magazine is transitional because it has an earlier style droop winged eagle 63 proof stamp on the base, and a wartime style blued tube. The tube has minimal finish loss and has no rust or pitting. The base is serial numbered 5552r with a plus sign and proof stamp. Strong, functional spring.
