3/24/22 – This is a very nice example of a somewhat scarce transitional Walther PPK from 1942 that went to the German commercial market. It’s a late serial to have the high-polish blue, and it has a gray grip as this is right around the time that these grips were introduced. The pistol is all original with 93-94% of the blue remaining. Most of the wear is on either side of the muzzle, but there’s a little more on the trigger guard and front strap. Terrific bore. Excellent brownish gray grip with nice color swirls and just a minor spinal crack. Correct wartime magazine.
