6/2/22 – This is a rare variation brown Theuermann AKAH Walther PP holster. These holsters were often paired with Luftwaffe issued pistols, however this Theuermann holster is unique compared to other examples we’ve encountered. What makes this holster unique is the lack of interior lift straps and stitching. Instead, the holster is attached with aluminum rivets. This may be a wartime “ersatz” type effort to expedite production or an experimental example. There’s no evidence of previous stitching holes where the rivets are, which tells us this must be factory. The holster leather is in great condition throughout with no major issues and clean interior. The interior ink stamp is still visible. Maker stamped and Theuermann stamped on the back leather as shown. No stitching issues.
