12/29/17 – This is a near-mint DWM-made 1906 Swiss luger. The original finish rates at 98-99%, with only minor finish loss on some high edges. The receiver shows Crown/N proofing and the chambered has the Swiss cross in sunburst marking. There is no finish beneath the safety lever when in the down position, which is correct. The gun is all matching with a blank wood-bottom magazine. Minty bore. Only flaw or defect is that a small piece of metal is missing in the toggle assembly. Could have been a machining issue or happening after production, but it doesn’t appear it should affect the function of the gun.
