8/18/23 – This is a beautiful example of an original Colt M1911 from 1914. U.S. military issued with inspectors mark on left side frame. Excellent bluing, rating at 95-96%. Most of the finish loss is on the front left edge of slide and frame, and the mainspring housing. There is also a patch of pitting on the right side of the muzzle. Proper Colt barrel with disconnected ‘P H’ marking. Excellent wood grips with no cracks. Two-tone mag with lanyard ring.
