9/26/18 – This is an original, fairly early and scarce WaA103 Tangent Hi Power. The pistol has a high polish finish that is mostly in tact, original wood grips, a tangent rear sight, and waffen 103 proof stamps. Roughly 80-85% of the finish remains in tact, despite wear throughout the front and back straps, as well as general bluing loss on the frame and slide. The straps have more discoloration and significant wear than the slide and remaining frame. The left side of the slide has small pin marks as if someone struck it multiple times in this area – or maybe it was hit by shrapnel. The wood grips have no cracks or chips. All correct, matching, and fully functional. The bore is a 7 out of 10 with good rifling but there’s clear signs of use and patina throughout. Guaranteed original. Comes with one original WaA103 proofed magazine as well.
