9/12/23 – This is a very nice example of a Swiss Schmidt Rubin Model 1911 Rifle issued to the Swiss Army in the 1920’s-30’s. This one is mostly matching, but the bolt and rear barrel band are mismatched. It comes with a period-correct bayonet (numbered but not matching), scabbard, and brass muzzle cap. The metal parts have retained about 95% of their original finish. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle. Nice wood furniture, but there are minor bruises and scratches throughout. Mint bore.
