9/25/23 – This is an Excellent condition example of a S&W Model 36, manufactured in the early 1960’s and chambered in .38 Special. 2″ barrel. The blued finish is 85-90%, with a minor patch of surface rust near the rear site on the top of the frame. The ejector rod is slightly sticky and only seems to function correctly if rotated to the correct position; otherwise, all mechanical parts work as they should. Fitted with excellent hand-checkered wood grips. 8.5/10 bore with strong rifling and mild use wear.
