8/14/20 – This is a super rare warrant disc (Dienstmarke) that was used by the German Third Reich era local or communal criminal police (Gemeindekriminalpolizei). This item comes with letter of authenticity from expert Don Bible. He states these discs were required to be a brown color however the brown plating or anodizing wore away quickly with use, thus one appears more silver or ‘in the white’. These discs are quite rare and seldom seen, even more rare than the desirable Gestapo warrants discs. Also has accompanying chain for belt/pocket.
