7/28/23 – This is a super rare Mauser Banner Luger that is police-issued with Eagle/F acceptance mark. There were only around 1200 ever produced with the the Eagle/F marking, all in 1939, and only 30 are known to still exist. This one has matching numbers throughout, including grips and magazine. Sideplate features the Simson E/6 proof. The finish is worn with notable thinning and patina on the straps, sideplate and left side of receiver. Magazine has the matching three-digit serial, and a ‘3’ but there’s a large gouge in the metal. Terrific bore. Nice grips with no cracks or chips.
