2/19/24 – This is a stunning Weatherby Mark V rifle In .300 Weatherby Magnum. This rifle retains virtually all of its original bluing finish with one tiny patch of speckled patina on the barrel and a thin streak on the right side (see Photos). This rifle has excellent bluing on the bolt handle, receiver, and magazine floor plate. We rate the finish at 99%. The bore has very strong rifling and mirror polish; we rate the bore a 9.5/10. The bolt features a classy chrome finish wave pattern that matches the magazine follower. There is excellent wood throughout with no wear on the checkering, and the stock retains nearly all of the original laminate finish. There are just a few tiny handling marks on the stock, and they are photographed. The rifle also comes with a very nice vintage leather sling and a 3x-9x Redfield scope that has crystal clear glass.
