5/16/24 – This is a stunning Weatherby Mark V rifle In .340 Weatherby Magnum. This rifle retains virtually all of its original bluing finish on the barrel, bolt handle, receiver, and magazine floor plate. We rate the finish at 99%. The bore has very strong rifling and mirror polish with the slightest hint of frosting; we rate the bore a 9.5/10. There is excellent, beautiful Tiger striped wood throughout that is without wear on the checkering and retains nearly all of the original laminate finish. There are just a few tiny handling marks on the stock, and they are photographed. The rifle also comes with a very nice premium leather Browning-made sling, a 3-9x40mm Leupold scope has crystal clear optics, three full boxes of ammo, a partial box containing eight rounds (68 rounds total come with the rifle), and a high quality range bag for transport/storage.
