10/20/23 – This a nice example of a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 Rig that was originally issued to the Austria-Hungarian military in 1930 and then reworked by the Nazis. It is matching with an “Eagle N” marking on the left side of the frame and a Nazi test eagle on the right side of the frame. Unit marking on the lanyard loop on the butt of the frame. The “08” on the slide indicates it was re-chambered for 9mm luger. It comes as a rig with a rare black leather holster. The bluing on the gun rates roughly 75% with general high edge wear, thinning along the slide and on the grips, and areas of light spotty oxidation and pin-pricking throughout. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with minor pitting throughout. There appears to be a small pin missing on the left side of the frame above the trigger.
