3/1/22 – This is a scarce, correct Standard Products M1 Carbine. Original early parts including the dog leg hammer. Original stock with crossed cannons cartouche on the right side and ‘S-HB’ marking in sling well. Underwood barrel with faint date marking, though it’s a ’44 date. No rear sight staking or sign of bayo lug. Bore has strong rifling but a little freckling near the muzzle.
