12/29/20 – This is a rare Standard Products M1 Carbine from 1943 that went through the CMP program. Only 4% of total M1 Carbine production was done by Std. Prod. and that’s one of the lowest totals. The rifle has many correct parts but was clearly modified with bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight. Barrel is made by Underwood and dated to September of 1943. Stock is marked TRIMBLE TN in the sling well, with inspectors mark on the right side reading RIA over EB. Stock is in excellent condition with no major issues. Strong, shiny bore. Comes with the CMP certificate and manual.
