11/27/20 – This is a scarce M1 Carbine that was made in 1943 by Standard Products. Only 4% of total produced was done there, with only Rock-Ola and Irwin-Pedersen completing fewer. The gun has original and mostly correct metal parts, inside and out. Including correct Underwood barrel, which dated to February of 1943. Very nice finish remains on the metal with most of the thinning on the barrel. But the wood is unmarked and sanded and appears to be a later replacement. Excellent bore.
