5/8/19 – This is an original & fairly rare K98 dress bayonet from WWII. The bayonet has an “upgraded” stag handle. Which is original and correct. The bayonet is also fairly rare because of the uncommon maker “Esser & Co”. The blade is minty and the maker stamp is crisp. The scabbard has the original black paint and is mostly in tact, although there is some minor / normal wear and spots of paint missing. No dents though. The leather scabbard is painted brown in the front and is in great condition. Overall all original and correct.
