10/11/22 – This is a diary taken from an SS Officer in December of 1944. The diary is dated 1944 and doubles as a manual for SS Officers. There are several hand-written entries throughout the book that stop in December of 1944, when this diary was captured. We have not gotten it translated so we do not know what the entries say. For someone willing to do a bit of research and translating, there may be some interesting pieces of history here. There is also one note written in English, most likely by the US GI who captured it. Overall, the diary is in very nice condition, but the binding is a little fragile and starting to separate.
