5/10/23 – This is a very nice Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1954 with various National Match parts. The rear sight, front sight, barrel and op rod are all ‘NM’ marked. Barrel is star gauge marked. DoD stock. Original Springfield barrel from same date as receiver, September of 1954. Minor high edge wear on the metal but excellent finish overall. Bore shows a little frost but is generally shiny with strong rifling. ME is a 2, TE is a 3. Comes with a nice, postwar leather sling.
