6/1/22 – This is a very nice example of a correct Springfield Armory M1 Garand from WW2. Receiver was made in December of 1943 while the Springfield barrel is dated to January of 1944. The original finish is very good overall with most of the wear on the trigger group and the gas tube. Excellent, shiny bore. Stock shows dings and handling wear but no cracks, and is marked with a ‘P’ on the wrist. Muzzle is a 4, TE is a 3.
