8/27/20 – This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1955, with receiver dating to that year and barrel date of April, 1955. The original finish is in good condition with some edge thinning throughout but no major defects. The stock has circle P proof on wrist, and DoD stamp on left side. Stock has various dings throughout, and a few small chips on the underside. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout. Muzzle is a 2, throat is less than 1. Comes with period original sling.
