6/23/21 – This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand made in the 1950s. Original finish in excellent condition on receiver, barrel and trigger group. Some wear on the gas tube and band. Barrel date of 3/66, also made by Springfield. Bore has strong rifling but minor frost throughout and could use a more thorough cleaning. Muzzle and throat readings are both 1 or under. Stock has obvious dings and handling wear all over, and right side is marked ‘AA’ over a rack number. Comes with canvas sling.
