7/10/23 – This is a nice example of a Spanish Eibar / Ruby manufactured in the early 1900’s. Many of these guns were issued to the French military, but this one lacks those French markings. “Made in Spain” commercial export marking on the left side of the tang. The gun has retained about 90% of its bluing with minor wear on the high edges in general and minor thinning on the grip straps. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is spotty brown patina throughout. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips. Comes with one proper magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves.
